~LOVE~

Geese! I can't believe how fast the days go by! Anyway, a lot has happened since my last post, there were 3 cousins born, 2 boys and a girl. Korys brother Joel and wife Liz had their first baby boy Jesse, the next day his brother Alex and his wife Erin had their second baby a boy and named him Camden, then a little more than 2 weeks later his brother Toby and his wife Mary had their fourth baby a girl and named her Olive. So Congrats to all of them!

Kory is still working nonstop it seems and we are grateful! He for the past year he has been driving down to 73rd south in SLC everyday, and he can't wait till there is a project closer to home!
Gage just finished his first pinewood derby in scouts, and had a blast! I don't know who loved it more Gage or Kory! Gage is also doing great in school and is becoming quite the reader, he loves to read the "Magic Treehouse" books.
Broc is also learning to read at preschool, he has caught on to reading very well. He loves to go to preschool, and even loves homework! Hope it lasts!
Macy is busy, busy, busy! She LOVES jewelry, SHOES, getting her hair done, having her fingernails (and toenails) painted, babies, giving loves, and wrestling with the boys!
I am still busy in the R.S. and it takes a lot of my time, but so does everything else in my life so it all equals out!!
Happy Valentines Day to all those we LOVE

Happy New Year!

So this years resolutions are the generic ones... *Get back in shape, spend more time "playing" with family, etc.
For some reason it is a lot harder to exercise with 3 kids, seems like anytime I start to exercise someone needs me to help them. Also the "playing" with family meand doing more fun things with the kids and Kory, like more camping, fishing, fourwheeling, anything of that sort.
Hope everyone has a good year, and good luck with your resolutions.

Christmas at Our House

Christmas was wonderful as always, Kory took off wed and thurs, so he was home most of the week, he built me some much anticipated/needed shelfs in our foood storage room. On Christmas Santa brought the wii (and as always TONS of candy) for our family to enjoy... Mom and Dad got Gage his DS, and just to be fair Broc got a Game Boy, Macy got a "my first doll house". The funnest part was we took the kids shopping to get each other gifts and that was fun to see how excited they got to have the presents opened from each other. the present I ordered for Kory never made it for Christmas, so it gets to be his Birthday, Christmas, Valentines present.... I ordered him a Garmin Rino before Thanksgiving and it is still on backorder, oh well he'll get it sometime. Kory got me some new earrings. After that we went over to Grandma and Grandpa Heslops to talk to Nick who is serving in New Zealand. From there we went to Grandma and Gramdpa Haroldsen and had a light lunch and opened some gifts. From there we went to Ryan and Ambers for our Grandpa Joe Christmas, and dinner. After that the day was done so we finally went home and got in bed(Macy efinatly needed it)!! Good thing the next day was Saturday so we could spend some time and recoup from Christmas right... No Saturday night Kory's family was coming to our house for their Christmas dinner/party. So Saturday was spent busily cleaning up the mess that was made the prior day, and setting up tables and chairs, cleaning bathrooms, washing dishes, etc. That night everyone came and had a good time, there was plenty of room and food for everyone, and the present exchange worked perfect in our basement! Sunday we were finally able to relax and enjoy our Christmas!

FAMILY

Thanksgiving was great! We had 35-40 Heslop family members come to our home on thanksgiving and we had a feast! Everyone fit great, we moved out the couches and put up tables, then after dinner those who could stay went down stairs and watched movies... But the best part was that while the adults were upstairs, the kids were downstairs playing so there was limited noise from them. Later in the day we left to go to Grandpa Joe's for our second Thanksgiving, had great food and watched another movie.

This week Kory and I, along with Mike and Tiffany, and some of our other friends will be going down to Las Vegas to go to the National Finals Rodeo, it is always a fun time and LOTS of shopping!!

We put up our Christmas tree, and all our other Christmas things yesterday and Macy is loving it!! She loves the lights on the tree, and LOVES to carry around baby Jesus from my nativity. I bought her and Broc the Little People Nativity set and they spend hours playing with it! So excited for Christmas this year... It makes it fun when all your kids are old enough to enjoy it, and still young enough to make it fun!

This was the group of Monsters that invaded my home this Halloween... For some reason there is a tradition for my family to come to my house on Halloween, have dinner, go trick-or-treating, and having Mike do some of his fun science experiments!!

Coming up next...
